Having a passion for medicine and growing up here in Waukesha, Wisconsin meant that it didn’t take me long to discover the fantastics Victoria Mondloch, a woman who has dedicated her career to the betterment of women’s health issues. In fact after reading about her career from a young age, I decided very early on that Victoria J Mondloch would be someone who I would look up to and over the years she has provided me with a huge amount of inspiration in my own endeavors. Dr. Victoria J Mondloch is someone who has inspired both myself and many other women here in Waukesha, and here is why.
Within her specializations as a doctor Victoria Mondloch focusses heavily on internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, something which she always knew that she wanted to go into. At the first chance to choose which specialization she would have a as a doctor, women’s medicine was always front and center in her mind, and this is why she has dedicated her career to helping women with a huge range of issues.
Not content with just helping out on the front line of patient care, Victoria Mondloch has also dedicated large amounts of her time working with research and development centers. We often hear scientists from these centers crying out for more input from actual doctors and that is where Victoria has been truly exemplary, helping in the development of new techniques and treatments for women’s health issues.
Dr. Mondloch is a regular contributor to a local and national medicine journal and she focusses heavily on female health, with the motivation that she can spread the word about more women’s issues. I have been an avid reader of her work for many years now and I am sure that thousands more women have as well.
Another example of how Victoria Mondloch reaches beyond the hospital is her work in the community and her help in rolling out community-based projects that seek to improve women’s health. Here in Waukesha, Wisconsin alone we have seen drives which offer tests for breast cancer and ovarian cancer, as well as using these vehicles to promote better women’s health. Without these community campaigns many women would ignore problems which they had and thanks to these programs those women are able to get the care that they need.
Victoria Mondloch was never going to be another cog in the wheel and ever since she began working as a doctor she has been ambitious. This ambition is what has taken her to board level within the hospital where she is in place to better affect the positive change that she wants to see with regards to female medicine. Having a seat on the board ensures that she is a key contributor to what goes on within the hospital which enables her to actually affect change.
A true inspiration and someone who seemingly has more hours in the day than the rest of us!
